Are these paintings genuine originals or prints?
Every artwork on Art From The Artist is a 100% genuine, hand-painted original watercolour created directly on the studio easel. We do not produce digital reproductions, giclées, or photographic prints. Each piece is completely unique and signed by the artist.
What mounting is included with the painting?
All paintings are professionally mounted in museum-quality, conservation-grade acid-free card mountboard with matching backing board. The outer mount is cut to standard British framing sizes so you can immediately place it in an off-the-shelf frame without custom framing fees.
Why are the paintings supplied unframed?
Sending glass picture frames in the post carries a high probability of shattering in transit, which can severely tear or puncture watercolour paper. Supplying the paintings professionally mounted allows safe, flat, rigid packaging and gives you total freedom to choose a frame moulding that matches your room decor.
How quickly is my painting dispatched?
Paintings are dispatched within 1 to 2 business days via Royal Mail Tracked 24. Standard UK delivery is completely free of charge. You will receive an automated email with tracking details as soon as the package is collected.
Can I purchase a painting as a gift for someone else?
Yes! Simply enter the recipient's address as the shipping address at checkout. We pack each piece in an elegant presentation format. If you would like a handwritten gift card enclosed, simply leave a note in the order notes field during checkout.
What is your returns policy?
We want you to be entirely delighted with your original artwork. In accordance with UK Distance Selling legislation, you have 14 days from receipt to return the painting in its original condition for a full refund.
