Terms governing purchases of original watercolour paintings from ArtFromTheArtist.uk

1. About Us

ArtFromTheArtist.uk is an independent artist portfolio and direct sales studio operating in the United Kingdom. References to “we”, “us”, or “the studio” refer to Art From The Artist.

2. Original 1-of-1 Artwork

Every piece presented on this website is an authentic, one-of-a-kind original watercolour painting. Because all artworks are individually painted by hand, subtle textural variations, natural pigment granulations, and paper deckles are natural characteristics of fine art watercolours.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP). Orders are processed in full before dispatch. We accept major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal through encrypted checkout.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Paintings are dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked 24 in rigid reinforced packaging within 1–2 working days. Standard UK delivery is complimentary. We are not liable for postal delays outside of our control once handed to the carrier, but we will assist with any inquiries or claims.

5. Cancellation & Returns

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your painting. To initiate a return, notify studio@ArtFromTheArtist.uk. The painting must be returned in its original mount and protective condition. Return postage is the buyer’s responsibility unless the artwork arrived damaged.

6. Copyright & Reproduction Rights

Purchase of an original artwork transfers ownership of the physical object to the buyer. The copyright, including reproduction and intellectual property rights, remains with the artist. Artworks may not be reproduced, copied, or commercially exploited without written permission.
